Best hockey
moment:
I was a forward
who was filling in for our goalie who was away on a tournament.
I was solid in net, only letting in one goal. The coach of the
rep team saw me and signed me to his team for the next year as
back-up goalie. By the end of that season, I was playing more
than the number one goalie.

Pre-Game -
What do you do? Any superstitions?
I try to get
to the rink early so that I can focus on the game and look at
the boards to learn the bounces. I try not to have any
superstitions, they just give me one more thing to think about.
When I was younger I had to have Smarties before every game.
Post-Game-
What do you do after a big game?
Hang out with the
team.
Tips for
other hockey players?
Do your best
game after game. Rebound control is the key. Have confidence in
yourself and your teammates, and they will have confidence in
you. You are not playing for yourself, you are playing for every
player in front of you. No matter how well you play, we can't
win if we don't score! You need the skills of every player on
the team in order to win a hockey game.
